On the taste of exhaled magic

Listening to Elif Shafak’s TED talk made me think about the taste of words when I found myself wondering—what does Exhale Magic Taste like?

Exhale, to me, is comparable to the deep satisfaction of a soul-quenching glass of cold water. It runs swift waves through your tongue, arousing the full of your body and cleansing everything in its path to make way for a fresh palette of perspective. Like water, there’s this strange hint of sweetness that you don’t fully appreciate unless you have something pungent first.

Magic is a rare spice. It leaves your tongue tingling in places you never explored. There’s a rhythm in how it makes your taste buds dance and mouth water, giving your tongue a desire to adventure beyond your mouth in search of uncharted territory.

Maybe Exhale Magic tastes like a voluminous Shiraz with that hint of wild herb and leather.
